One item of clothing that I’ve lusted over since the beginning of time was the leopard print coat. Structured, furry or maxi, I just wanted one. There’s something about the print that just…resonates with me. It’s on the right side of tacky and can instantly jazz up even the most simple of looks! When I saw that River Island Plus had brought out the Leopard Print Overcoat, I was inconsolable.
I now currently wear this coat with ALL THE THINGS. It’s a longline structured coat with a single button fastening and is v v true to size. River Island always knock it out of the park when it comes to their sizing; whatever formula they use to make it perfect, patent that shit because it’s incredible. I paired the coat with this khaki slip dress, also from River Island Plus (which is no longer available online unfortunately!), and an old ribbed sleeveless sweater from Simply Be.
I am sorta in love with this look; You just don’t know if i’m popping down the shops for a bottle of vodka or going to a launch party. An East End look. A mood. An aesthetic, if you will.
