I always tend to find it a lot easier to dress up for dates in the Autumn/Winter than in the Summer months. Sounds weird, but I feel like there is less pressure when it comes to choosing pieces as you can just layer up heavily and be comfortable, whilst still being on trend. Everyone has a colour that makes them feel sexy in my opinion; for me, it’s the colour black. It’s classic, it’s minimal and I just love how the colour sits with my skintone!
In light of this, I’ve decided to show you guys how I style two bodysuits from the new Jordyn Woods x Boohoo* collection; I find bodysuits so versatile
easy to get out of if the date goes well and comfortable and these two are no different!
*Early afternoon leading into the evening. Maybe you’re going to visit a few Museums. You’re having a sneaky tipple in Shoreditch somewhere or you’re catching a movie.*
I do love a good harness top tbh. It’s simple, but oozes sex appeal without the need to show any cleavage. Here I’m styling the Jordyn Harness Bodysuit in black with my absolute favourite (but now too big for me 🙁 ) ASOS Curve Mom Jeans. I finished the look with a River Island Plus Khaki duster coat and these faux snakeskin wide fit mules from Simply Be. This body suit is true to size fortunately!
*Out to a gig up in Camden for the evening or going to a bridge bar down Clapham Common for the night*
My second look is my favourite tbh because there’s a lot going on, despite the main colour palette being quite muted. I’ve paired the Jordyn Fishnet Bodysuit with one of my FAVOURITE ever pieces; the Marina Rinaldi faux leather midi skirt which has unfortunately sold out! I brought out my New Look biker jacket from seasons past and finished the look with some Primark boots. This is look is feminine, yet pretty edgy and that’s what I love about it. You also have the mesh in the centre of the body for a peek of cleavage.
I would size up in this body suit as while it fits width-wise, it’s quite short when it comes to the length; just something to bear in mind!
