Duwop Venom Gloss
When I think of “Duwop”, the first thing that comes to mind is the word ‘plump lips’. Duwop were among the first brands to introduce the lip-plumper which increased the plumpness of your lips by increasing the circulation under the skin. Since then, they have gone on to create other ranges including collections for the face, eyes and also their Venom Gloss.
Here’s what Duwop say:
“DuWop Venom Gloss blends the same spicy concoction of cinnamon, wintergreen and ginger as the original Lip Venom, with skin softening ingredients such as jojoba, avocado and sunflower oil, beeswax for protection and green tea to soothe.
Venom Gloss will leave you with full, soft, hydrated lips.”
I have here two shades from the collection – there aren’t any names on the back but I assume them to be Buttercup
(left) and Wisteria
I’d always wanted to see whether the Duwop gloss would work on my lips as they are pretty full already. What I immediately noticed after applying each gloss was the subtle tingling sensation on my lips which I will admit was quite pleasant haha! After about five minutes, I did notice that my lips looked ever so slightly fuller, especially my bottom one!
What I like about the glosses are that, although in the tube they look quite sheer, it’s very easy to build up a great colour and I find it rather pigmented – although I wouldn’t personally wear these colours everyday as I feel the colours are a bit light for my skintone. In regards to longevity, the glosses lasted around 3 hours before I had to re-apply. If you like a slightly thicker textured, yet non-sticky gloss that give your lips a slightly bee-stung look with a great colour, then this gloss is for you!

Have you guys ever tried the Duwop Lip Venom before?
