Black Swan?!

I have LITERALLY just finished watching it and I felt that I had to do a quick post on the sheer epicness of this movie!

In a word: BRILLIANT!

The movie is about a young Ballerina named Nina (Portman) who aspires to play the lead role in the famous "Swan Lake" Ballet production and documents her inner turmoil  and decline into madness along the way. 

The movie was so beautifully shot and the actual ballet was indeed amazing. I'm a HUGE fan of Ballet so this movie was right up my street! The twist at the end of the movie was great as well.  Natalie Portman is an amazing actress!

I think it comes out in the UK next February so make sure you go and see it!

Bad Blogger

I know that i've been such a terrible blogger in regards to updating as of late but I will be returning within the next week or so to continue blogging. I have been inundated with overtime due to the Christmas period and so have literally NO time for anything else at the moment. I am also going through some personal issues and so when all is right again, I shall start posting.

November/December Favourites

Hey folks!
Apologies for the lack of updates, with Xmas approaching, i've been taking on some overtime at work which has me very busy and tired ~_~. Anyhoo, I thought I would post up the products that i'm seriously loving for the last couple of months:

I hardly ever wear makeup in the Winter months as 1) I just cannot be bothered to apply it in the morning 2) It's too cold to apply it in the morning! 3) I have dry skin and so I limit my makeup to a good powder, lip balm/gloss and mascara!

 

1) MAC Mineralize SkinFinish -Natural in Deep Brown.

This is my first ever MSF and I'm in LOVE! It's all I use and it gives me amazing yet light coverage.

Next Yves Saint Laurant's Faux Cils mascara and Maybelline's Falsies, this is one of my favourites!

A good old evo-brush slanted brush. I LOVE IT! Great as an eyebrow shaper, eyeliner brush, waterline brush...it has so many uses!

EyeKo fat lip balms in Cherry, Strawberry, Toffee and Frosting.

I predominantly use these as lip tints and blushers! They are amazing!
