Collection 3000 'Hotlights' Lipgloss

While on the mission for a new lipgloss, I came across Collection 2000's 'Hotlights' lipgloss in an array of different colours and for the price (£2.99) I thought it was quite a bargain..

However...

but wait! there's more!

Maybe this whole concept has already been done, but this is the first i've heard of it! I think it's amazing, considering the price as well!

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Daily Scrub.

I popped into Superdrug the other day to buy a facial scrub as for the past couple of years, i've been using St.Ives and have found that is does not really work for my skin, so I wanted to try something a bit different.

I opted for Neutrogena as I have never used their products before; on this occasion, I only bought the scrub and not the cleanser.

I've tried looking for reviews and product specs for this specific product EVERYWHERE but it is ne'er to be found! I don't know if its because this range is farely new... Anyhoo, the facial scrub promises to 'gently purify the skin without overdrying, while the pink grapefruit uplifts the senses with a burst of invigorating freshness.'
The scrub also boasts powerful Microclear technology and exfoliating micro-beads which unclog the pores to 'deeply clean and help eliminate spots and blemishes.'

I've been using the scrub for about a week now and I must say, its pretty good. The first thing you notice about the scrub is the smell.

It. Is. So. Powerful.

If it weren't for the fact that I LOVE the smell of grapefruit, It would have been too overpowering however, that aside, i'm very pleased with the product. The beads are very minute and so don't irritate my skin. I use it twice a day and i've noticed a definate improvement in my complexion as it feels a lot smoother and tighter. I think this product will work best for dry skin types.
The only negative to it is that anytime you open the cap, the scrub always oozes out as there is no cap stopper, so it tends to get a bit messy, so I store it sideways instead of vertically.

Available in Superdrug (as far as i know) and they have a special offer going on at the moment so i got the scrub for £2!!!

Have any of you used this range?

Dear Shardinay...

I wasn't going to do this but I know my spirit will NOT rest until I get this out, so without further ado:

Dear Shardinay,

*opens arms* Come here girl...just come for a hug because...girl...you tried...you tried. However...
I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN.

You call yourself a "Youtube Sensation", yet you only have 8 fans on Facebook. #WOMP. What on God's green earth possessed you to think that you could actually carve out a singing career based on this clusterfuck of a song?
You see, I wouldn't have been so hard on it if it had come out that you maybe have some sort of disability or learning disorder- I would have been a bit more sympathetic, however, for you to actually think you are THEE SHIT because of this...Oh no, you really need to face reality honey.

Let's start with the video why don't we?
1) I am so MAD that you shot this fuckery on a Sony Cybershot camcorder.

2) You took me wayyyyy back into 2001 one with those clothes you people were wearing. You really had dude wearing Londsdale? LONDSDALE? In this day and age?? Couldn't you afford at Hi-Tech at LEAST?

3)Out of all the women in that video, why did you choose the one who looks like Janice Dickinson to sit next to you in the car?

As for the song....lets be frank. It's a clusterfuck of woe. The song sounds like it was made on Fruityloops on a Windows 95, it it changed from being 1990's faux RnB to Funky House all of a sudden...who does that?!
You obviouly learned your choerography from the Darrin's Dance Grooves DVD or Pineapple Studios Hip Hop Workout DVD. It's obvious mate.

As for your voice.
I mean....REALLY? You sound like a cat being dragged to hell. Upon hearing that first note, my spirit decided to just quit on life. iCouldn't. You've officially offended all of my 5 senses and you should be ashamed.
What you need to do is focus less on your singing and your haters and focus more on touching up your edges because that bleach is doing nothing but BBQing your hairline and do something about your makeup because you're in the video looking like Charizard.

iCannot. (Goes to watch Pokemon on Youtube)

Yours Disgsustingly,

Stephanie

How I make my brows look as if they've been threaded.

Hey there! Apologies for my lack of posts; you'd think that i'd have a lot of time what with me finishing with University, but i'm busier than ever *sigh*.
I've always loved how a threaded brow looks, but like a lot of women (and some men O_O) I refuse to sit in a chair for seven minutes while a woman hacks away at my precious precious stray hairs. I've threaded my eyebrows once...and it was once too many. THE PAIN! i couldn't hack it, yet I don't pluck or wax my eyebrows either so what's a girl to do?

I was given a video tutorial on how to shape brows by the lovely Ruki over at http://www.lovekiksy.blogspot.com/ and followed the video step by step. Now, PLEASE BEAR IN MIND that this is the first time i've done anything like this, I KNOW the ending result looks a bit drag-queenish, but i'll be better! So, without further ado:

June Favourites.

Hiiii!
It's been a loooooong time, nearly a month since I last posted I think, however i'm back now, with my June favourites!
In the Summer, I almost never wear that much make up as I find it really uncomfortable, especially with foundations so I keep it simple. Here we go:

First up, Lush's Skin Drink.
I have dry skin and so i've found this moisturiser to be amazing. I will and will always stan for Lush's products as they contain natural and organic ingredients, with this moisturiser containing seseme oil and avacado, but to name a few.
The formula is non-greasy and rubs into the skin very easily, leaving it feeling refreshed the whole day.
£10.60 last time I checked.
