My Step-By-Step *Spring* Face! *VERY PIC HEAVY*

Now, i'm not one to wear makeup all the time, especially everyday, but today the weather has been beautiful and so I thought I would make the effort and actually put on some makeup which was not 'neutral' for once.

Because I am quite dark, i've always been a bit scared of using bold colours such as pinks and reds, however since its Spring, I thought i'd go all out and show you my step-by-step on how i achieved this look! So here we go:

So within the next few weeks, I may not be posting as much as exams are near..yikes! I still cannot believe i'm in my last year. *sigh*

My 21st birthday is also coming up and i will be having a little do with some friends at TGI Fridays, and then me and a couple friends will be flying out to Amsterdam for the weekend to celebrate properly...good times!!

Yesterday I got my lip pierced at this tattoo place where they were doing a special offer, so I got it done for £5. I'm not ENTIRELY happy with it: The ring is FARRR too small for my lip so i'm seriously considering taking it out...it also hurts so much. :) Here it is:

Also, after like 700 years of searching for these dang boots, I FINALLY found them! I know i'm a tad bit late with the trend and i would have preferred the boots in brown, but I can still rock these:

Complete with peg-leg trousers. #iLove.

Chanel Rouge Coco Lipstick.

 This lipstick is in 'Paris - Number 22'

I've instantly fallen in love with this lipstick! It's extremely light upon application-almost like a lip balm, so it feels as if you aren't wearing anything. It's also very easy to build up the colour. When first applied, it comes out as a cherry red, then upon build up, achieves a deep 'blood' red. The lipstick also has a slight vanilla scent to it which smells lovely.

I also love the packaging!

I feel so girly when I apply it on for some reason lol! As if i should be lounging on some French patio, in Paris, spread across a chez lounge, drinking Champagne and crossaints and...whatever else French people eat. :P

I'll definately be wearing this shade in the Summer!

E.L.F Haul

Once again, I completed my monthly E.L.F haul. I love this brand, i really do. Not only are they amazingly cheap, their products are really really good! The delivery time is quite pucca as well; i ordered my items on friday and it got here today (Monday) So, w/out further ado, specific faves include:

Concealer Comparisons: MAC

Yesterday I bought a new concealer from MAC called 'Select Cover-Up' in NW 50 after I saw how well it worked on my Mother's skintone. I normally used MAC's Studio Finish concealer in NC50 but I didn't like the pasty texture it gave off, so I thought i'd do a little comparison!

 I then decided to test both concealers on my tattoo.
So here is my tattoo before:

And this is it with the Studio Fix:

As you can see, the coverage is...meh. It's extremely pasty on my skin and it's very apparent where it has been applied. I had to dab on quite a bit to get enough coverage.

Here it is with the Select Cover Up:

As you can see..the coverage is near flawless! The consistency is not too watery and i only needed a minute amount to cover the whole of my tattoo. I think i've found my new fav concealer!

I don't understand WHY....

THESE...are back in fashion. =/
