Youtube Talent : Jessie

So about 3 weeks ago, my friend Uwa (www.natureal-love.blogspot.com) sent me the link to Jessie's youtube page, claiming that she was a fantastic singer, so i decided to check her out, and ever since I saw the video above, i've been HOOKED. 

SHE HAS A FANTASTIC VOICE!!!!

Jessie is an up and coming singer/songwriter from Essex, England and she has already written for singers such as Chris Brown and she also wrote "Party in the USA" for Miley Cirus.

She has also recently been signed to Universal Music if i'm correct and is currently working in the studio with Justin Timberlake and Dallas Austin in the US.

It's CRIMINAL that it takes so long for fantastic singers such as Jessie and Priscilla Renea etc to get record deals, yet you have people like Rihanna and Cassie who get snapped up straight away when they can't even sing. Everything is driven by image these days and it's frustrating.

But anyhoo.

What do you think of her voice?

Fuckery Case Files #1

Hello peeps and welcome to a brand new section of the blog which will be tagged under the heading "what kind of fuckery is this?"

Now, many of you may not know, but i am a 'fuckery enthusiast/cheerleader" which basically means, i LIVE for all things weird, ghetto, hilariously funny/strange and just plain damn WRONG.

Today I bring you a video, starring a woman who genuinely believes she is Nicki Minaj. If you don't know who she is, well, you will soon because her 'ghetto barbie fabulous' style is becoming a worrying epidemic amongst young (and OLD =/) women.

 

Now, in this video, this woman is telling ladies the rules to becomming a 'flygirl'.

Note: She is NOT acting or mocking NickiMinaj. She is actually serious. =/

1) If your room is 'all pink everything' after the age of 14, you need help.

2) I'm mad that her teeth are 4 miles apart.

3) Why didn't she rehearse what she was gonna say before filming? All the fillers get annoying.

4) Flygirls don't wear 18 inches of synthetic hair. That weave is obvious, disgusting, fried, dyed and laid to the side. =/ 

5) She needs her ass beat.

Threadings, MAC, Falsies and Horse Mane moisturizer?!

Sorry that i haven't been updating as much, i've started my 2nd semester back at uni so it's starting to get a bit hectic, but i thought i'd quickly slide this post in, so this is gonna be a bit of a quickie:

1. Today I threaded my eyebrows for the FIRST TIME ever in life. For years...YEARS i have been afraid to pluck or wax my brows as i ASSUMED I had a very low pain tolerance, when threading became popular, i started hearing stories, from friends and family, including my mum, how much it hurt and how excrutiating the pain is...so i was put off for life..until today.

I don't know why i decided to go through with it, it was half spontaneous, half forced (my friend practically pushed me into the arms of the threader lol) but i did it...and it didn't hurt one bit! I was pleasantly surprised with the results and i think i'll start doing it like this from now on!

2. Today i purchased a cream base for my eyeshadows, to prevent creasing!

It dries really quickly and it's really hard to remove with make up remover!

3. Maybelline Falsies Mascara.

I bought the new 'Falsies' mascara the other day after seeing an advert on TV about them (Yes..i'm an advertizers DREAM lmao) and i thought i'd try it out:

 

  

The wand is pusposely bent to get to the smaller areas of the lashes which are hard to get to. :)

I really like it. It was easy to apply and was still the same length after the day was over!

4. Mega Tek Horse Mane moisturizer (YES, Horse) =/

So I was on the Vex in the city blog and there was a post about this new 'wonder product' which apparently makes your hair grow quite quickly! My hair has been the same length for about 2 years and i want some new growth damnit! Yes, the product is for horses..but it can be used on humans too.
