Valentine's Day Challenge!

At the moment I am doing the 'Green Tea' diet, where I drink nothing but Green tea and eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and so far it has been going well! But I want to see if i can go a step further and really challenge myself, so i thought I would do a Valentines Day challenge, which consists of the following;

1. From the 1st of February, I have until Valentines Day to lose 10lbs
2. Drink absolutely nothing apart from water and green tea
3. No Sugar
4. To work out everyday
5.No carbs after 8pm

Do i think I can do it?
I have no idea as i've never done anything like this before, so It should be fun!
I shall be documenting the weightloss via a little weightloss tracking thingy over there ->>>>

Who's with me???

Book and Victoria Jackson Haul

Heller guys!
So today I thought i would treat myself to a few new books as I haven't really been reading any novels lately due to the massive amounts of work i've been doing at University, so i copped these 4 books at Waterstones as they are doing a '3 for 2' deal at the moment:

The first book i'm reading is 'Precious' as i watched the movie late last year and thought it was fantastic. My friend recommended I buy 'My Sister's Keeper' by Jodi Picoult so i got that too...I also bought 'Animal Farm' by George Orwell, which was recommended by my Mother. I'd read 1984 a few years ago which was FANTASTIC so i thought i'd give this a try. The last book is The Book Thief, which i randomly picked up. It's about World War II and I like things like that so i'm hoping it'll be good,

My next stop was the House of Fraser, where the Victoria Jackson makeup range were doing a promotion. From what i heard, Victoria Jackson was the makeup artist for the girls at Sex and the City and other movies which is cool. I thought i'd try out a few of her products. Collectively, it all came to over £200 worth of products "ALLEGEDLY", but i got it for £30!

These are eyeliner rollers, which I think are cool!

Some pretty cool things in my opinion!

Prada's Fishermen Boots: Yay or Nay?

Photography: Mario Testino
Model: Sasha

Guys, what do you think of these Prada boots??
They debuted last year on the Prada catwalk and have been seen on several celebrities including Rihanna, but she had the smaller version while she was at Paris fashion week last year.

I would definately rock these in public, teamed with the right outfit of course:

What do you guys think???

Skin MD Natural :Pre-Review

Hey guys!
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. It's been kinda hectic!

Okay so about a week ago, the guys at Skin MD sent me their shielding lotion to test out!

Skin MD is a lotion which uses natural products, which is perfect for me as i have sensitive skin. It promotes skin protection, thus allowing moisture to be maintained within the body and disallows any products such as cleansers and everyday toxins from harming the skin.

Skin MD also contains aloe vera which is EXTREMELY good for the skin as it is known for being ani-inflammatory and so is very good for people with Eczema and other skin problems. It also contains Chamomile and Vitamin E.
At the moment, I am currently using it as a face and hand cream and I shall be testing it for a further week and then I will review it and the effects of it in full.

At the moment, I am really liking the lotion! I LOVE the consistency of it; I know a few bloggers who were wary of how well the product would work because it isn't that thick, but trust me, it works. It's unlike any lotion i've used before as the consistency is very...gel-like and feels exactly like a make-up primer.

It's an extremely light lotion which may lead people to think that it will be greasy...but it is not greasy at all. As soon as I rub it into my skin, it disappears completely and you get none of the 'shine' other moisureisers leave when rubbed into the skin..it's like i never applied a moisureiser in the first place!

The lotion sinks into the skin straight away, leaving the skin feeling extremely soft for a long time!

As I said before, I am still using this product, mostly on my face, so I shall be back with another review as soon as i'm done! In the meantime, please visit their websites:

For my UK people: Skin MD's UK Website
International peeps: Worldwide Website

Have any of you used this product before? If so, do you like it?

Lipstick Mad!

Heyyy guys!
So for the past couple months or so i've been going lipstick crazy. I never used to use it because because my Mother always told me "Steph you can wear lipstick when you're an older woman" and so i've always had this impression that lipstick were for mature women and stuck to gloss...and then I realised..i AM old now lmfao so i've started purchasing more.
Today I went on a hunt to find a plum coloured lipstick..something a little Vamp..and I came across this little vintage store which looked soooo cute, so i went inside..and managed to buy an Anna Sui plum lipstick and a Versace lipgloss!
I managed to get it for quite a bargain too and i've fallen instantly in love :D

Anna Sui '206' Rouge a Levres - £12
Versace Wet Cream Lipgloss V 2114-A - £10

The Anna Sui lipgloss is very Matte, even though it looks shiny in the photo. The lipgloss isn't too gloopy and smells WONDERFUL!!!

Lipstick by itself

With the lipgloss.

What are some of your favourite shades?? I'm thinking of buying a blue LMFAO.

I want to see MORE of this!

(Taken from http://2bitchezdeep.blogspot.com/)

I love these photos! It's extremely refreshing to see "plus-size" (in the UK i don't think these women would be termed 'plus size but hey ho) models! Aren't they gorgeous??

NYE: OOTN

For NYE i decided to keep it very very simple. I didn't want to wear anything to constricting or tight as I was dancing the night away lol and again just stuck to basic colours. I decided to wear black as I've been eating A LOT over the Xmas period and wasn't up to highlighting the added pounds lol.
I chose a top with rounded shoulder pads and a puffball skirt so that my top would balance out the bottom, with my waist being cinched in with a belt to give the illusion of an "hour-glass" silhouette.
Sorry for the lack of quality in the photo, the black top is actually very detailed up close!

Lace puffball shoulder top: Dorothy Perkins £25
Two-tone puffball skirt: Dorothy Perkins £25
Skinny Belt: Primark £2
Ankle Boots: Beyond Retro £40

New Years Eve: FOTN

So for NYE, I decided to play it safe and keep to neutral, warm colours :)

Face: MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in NW50
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NW50 (For under my eyes and around my mouth)
MAC Mineralize Blusher in 'Love Thing'

Eyes: Gold - Collection 2000 Eye palette
Copper - Sleek Eye palette in 'Sunset'
Rimmel Eyeliner
Girls Aloud False Eyelashes in 'Kimberley'

Lips: Gosh Lipstick in 'Kitch' (My new FAVE lipstick!!)
Soap & Glory 'Sexy Mother Pucker' in Peach

Nowwww I'm not experienced with attaching false eyelashes at all so YES they look a bit wonky lmfao but hey..it was NYE so i wasn't really bothered lol!

Happy New Year guys!!!!
I hope everyone has had a grrrreat holiday and may 2010 be a great year for you all!
I think 09 was one of the worst years of my life Lmao so i'm really hoping that this year goes a bit better!

Sleek Face Contour Kit in 'Dark' - I believe was around £3.50
MAC Mineralize Blusher in 'Love Thing' - £17.00
MAC Studio Finish Concealer in NC50 - £12.50

Now...After I left the MAC stand..i thought to myself..Did i just spend £17 on a blusher? But then the guilt soon faded when i remembered it wasn't my own money I was spending :D
Anyhoo:

Collection 2000 Magi-Length Mascara in black - £2.99

(Swatched) Collection 2000 Eye Palette in 'Angelic' £2.99

Gosh Lipstick in 'Kitch' - £6.00

I shall demonstrate all these products on my face when I have the time!
I am looking for an eyeshadow palette which only contains different shades of brown/dark gold..can anyone recommend any brands which supply this?
Hope you like my haul!
